The role of Indonesian agriculture is very central in maintaining food security and therefore resilient agricultural system adaptive to the changing climate has been the priority of development programs of the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture. Meanwhile, mitigation is regarded as a co-benefit of adaptive management systems. There has been significant development in research and development, as well as implementation of adaptation (and mitigation) technologies in the last few years, including innovation in animal husbandry, food crop management systems, and agricultural intensification. These presentations will highlight the new development in research and implementation that would benefit other countries, especially those in the tropical region.
